Drift was born from salty hair, wind beaten clothing, and rough calloused hands. We are Liam and Ryan and we've shaped our lives around our passions; surfing, motorcycles, and drinking good coffee.
Our journey has been life-long, filled with twists, turns, travel, and adventure. When we realized all we really wanted was to surf everyday and ride all year, well Tofino checked all the boxes. Tofino is our Canadian paradise. With ample swell throughout the year and a median temperature of 10c, there's no place better for us to live the life we crave.
After years of working hard for others and countless conversations of 'what if', we finally decided to take the leap and start Drift. We started by taking our creations to the Tofino Saturday Market in 2019 and in 2021 we opened our little Drift Garage shop. We hope you're as stoked as we are to share our creations and some rad brands we've followed for years.
Repurposing materials is one of our main focuses. We reuse and reduce as much as possible and will always make efforts to source local materials for our products, collaborate with local brands and artists, and will always put the ocean first when thinking about our impacts.
